CRASTE opportunity: October 26 - 29

NASA and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) want to undertake a roadmap which will be as beneficial as possible to commercial space and which will focus on commercial reusable launch vehicle (CRLV) technology.

The event is called the Commercial and Government Responsive Access to Space Transportation (CRASTE) and will take place between October 26 and 29 inclusive in Dayton, Ohio (see http://www.usasymposium.com/craste/default.htm). During CRASTE, commercial space organizations will have an opportunity to provide analysis, options and recommendations for the roadmap to the government team during one-on-one, closed door discussions. Based on the discussions, the government will make recommendations in the form of technology tasks and milestones for the upcoming roadmaps. CRLV categories will then be compiled and documented, along with initial budget and resource requirements.

Registrants who select this item will be contacted by either Cathy Griffith or Nancy Johnson to schedule a meeting time. Meetings will be 30 minutes in length. While every effort will be made to accommodate you when a day and time are assigned, the slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served based on the day and time your registration is completed.

Tentatively, Roadmap Discussion meetings will occur on the days listed during the time frame listed.
