Description of services/areas of expertise: Masten Space Systems is developing a line of unmanned, reusable spacecraft for carrying scientific payloads on suborbital trajectories on a daily basis. Sub-100 km flights are expected in 2010 with 100 km space flights starting in 2011. Payloads are limited to 100 kg within a 1.5 meter diameter x 1.5 meter cylindrical fairing. The vehicle will provide power, data storage, ground communications, and pointing accuracy within ~ 1°. The payload bay can be unpressurized and opened to space providing unobstructed access to the space environment.
